Is it normal to prefer your own company even if you have many friends?

im not a loner by any means, but i reeeealy love my own company, like i can pick my friends up and go out for the day have a really good day, but when im alone again i feel so much better, on a night out ill always leave the club or pub and walk home whilst drunk instead of getting a taxi with friends, even if its a few kilometeres walk, i find it theroputic i always have prefferd my own company, im just wondering if anyone else is the same?

    There is nothing wrong with being content with yourself enjoying your own company at all. It says a lot about how comfortable you are with yourself. Very positive.

    yes i agree also lol i mean don't get me wrong i love my friends but sometimes i just want to be alone. im not a depressing person either i just per for my own company:D

    I feel the same way sure they are a blast but sometimes isint it just fun to have a productive day with your self makin something or doing something that is fun for me and i enjoy it more then doing with my friends. I hear ya same way
