    It really doesn't matter what you use but I think that slap bass is soooo much cooler. Hey you ever heard of primus?

      & Thanks you guys I was feeling like a total square after reading YouTube comments bashing bass-pick players.
      I prefer the sound of a pick..but thats only because my finger picking is so sloppy I'd guess..I'll definitely practice using my fingers though
