Grow up OP, if there were anything sinister about it he wouldn't have told you afterwards, would he now?
I have a friend dealing with this issue in a relationship right now and I've seen it happen all too often: your jealousy is YOUR problem and if you don't learn to trust you'll be confronted with a self-fulfilling prophecy. Accuse someone often often enough of being unfaithful or even thinking about it, and it's common for the innocent accused to decide they might as well do it if they're going to be suspected of it without foundation
