Is it normal to picture time like this?

I think of a week as 7 rectangles. But the weekends are two longer rectangles that are different colors than the week day rectangles. Over a year, I think of all the months as a line graph. January is low, same with February, then it raises up a little when it gets to April and May. Then there is a huge spike over May and June, ten it goes down into a valley that is the lowest at July. The it slowly rises until it gets to November, where it is flat until the end of the year. I imagine all of the months as rectangles too. I guess this is my minds way of turning time into visual shapes. Anyone else similar?

    My mum does! she visualises it almost exactly how you describe it! i thought she was the only one! ahha x

    Sounds like Synesthesia. I would love to see your view of time illustrated, it might make it easier to visualise:)

    For me, the days go in a cycle, stopping at Saturday, ad going straight back to Sunday. I picture months sitting next to each other like a bar graph, an dI picture years as a timeline.

    january is a knuckle and then february is a space in between my knuckle and so forth...

    My monthly calendar is circular, and I am viewing it from the center. The months July through December are all spread out, but January through June are all mashed together. For me, it seems like July to December flies by while January through June crawls by. Weird, hunh?

      I see them in a circular spiral pattern - the months, that is.

      Weekdays I see in a similar looping pattern.

      I think this is part of having Synesthesia.
