Not normal. But as long as you are being hygienic, cleaning up after yourself properly, and have made sure that everyone in your household is aware of and is comfortable with it, then it's fine by me. I won't be doing it anytime soon though lol! Also, make sure you get a new sink before selling your home. Regardless of how cleanly you are in your practice, it's only fair to replace the sink at that point for the new homeowner.
