Overall I can see I was being a bit of a Scrooge. I think my brain just couldn't process it was only $100 for moving and the other $200 was for the tv. It's a giant tv too, it was well over $1000 brand new. Overall I'm grateful to have a friend who would help us out that way.
Is it normal to pay a friend $100 for helping with two days of moving?
