I have a big vehicle. I will help my friends move in they ask me to, but it is a massive imposition. Moving is shit, nobody wants to do it. It usually takes up the entire weekend that I could be spending with my children. I don't get much free time.
$100 probably covered the fuel for such a big vehicle and a little bit extra for the trouble of this person spending 2 whole days moving somebody else's stuff.
Have you ever had to hire professional movers? If you ever do you will look back on this and cringe at how surprised you were that your boyfriend paid your friend a measly $100 For doing this.
Is it normal to pay a friend $100 for helping with two days of moving?
