It's not normal if you smoke weed. But you probably haven't smoked weed - it may have been cut with something else.
Ever heard of salvia divinorum? Is a plant you smoke, similar to weed, but it makes you hallucinate for something like 15 minutes. I have tried it once and had that horrible time-loop experience. Not funny.
