Is it normal to own a tamagotchi at 29 years old?

So i'm a 29 year old male. I really like digital pets. Because I can't have pets where I live they help me pass the time, and don't make real mess. However people seem to look at me strangely when I check on how it is doing in public. I don't get it, i'm not hurting anyone.

So tell me, is it normal to own a digital pet at my age?

    Keep on taking care of those critters. You can't live your life caring about what other people think. I better let you go, I think your pet just took a crap...go and clean it up :-)

    I still own 2 of them, I'm 21, but i got those like 10 years ago! I'm sure they still work and this makes me want to put the batteries back in... haha. that might be a little weird but i think it's kind of cute. I would let them visit each other XD

    I didn't know know they still made tamagotchis O_o

    It's a bit unusual (But mostly because they're so old), but I don't see any harm in it. Keep doing what you're doing.
