If someone walked into a bar,and ordered chocolate milk, would that be weird? Has anyone even done that? What do you think would happen?

I imagine that if it was a posh bar where they charge ridiculous prices and pride themselves on satisfying the most absurd requests of customers, someone would be sent out to buy some chocolate milk, and then you'd be charged about ten times the purchase price of it.

If it was a run of the mill bar, you'd probably get a fake laugh and be told they didn't have chocolate milk on tap.

If it was a dive, you'd probably be glared at, told to fuck off, and thrown out if you didn't either order a beer or leave voluntarily.

Nothing will happen to you, when I'm in a bar I buy booze.

Its actually quite a common ask, having worked in plenty of bars they are generally equipped with both milk and chocolate syrup, so it isn't a problem. No different than any other adult mocktails that don't have alcohol in my opinion.

Nothing screams " badass " more than chocolate milk.

If they serve cocktails, they should have the ingredients necessary to make a chocolate milk.

It’d be weirder if they carried it.

Also strawberry milk is the way, most badass drink on earth.

I agree that strawberry milk is very underrated.

  • I can't find it on YouTube but there's a scene from a live action inspector gadget movie where he goes into a biker bar and orders a milk and the bartender scowls at him menacingly. So inspector gadget says chocolate, make it double and the bartender ends up begrudgingly making it

As a person who has worked in a bar, I wouldn't just because the milk and/or the chocolate might be very questionable. You can't reasonably expect any old bar to hold fresh milk or Hershey syrup. That's wisdom, retain it. It is of a higher order than your desire to prove something by ordering a silly drink.

Where were you working wigz? Every bar I ever worked had milk and chocolate syrup.

Yeah, they HAD it, but how old was it, is the question? Milk-based drinks were semi-common but not exactly common enough to make sure the milk was fresh 100% of the time.

Never seen anything like it and will never do it myself. I think I would laugh at the guy.

    First of all
Do they have milk and chocolate in bars?

If the establishment is a restaurant, and bar they just might have that for which you're looking.

Lol I’ve done this, and I’ve also ordered plain soda, usually Dr.Pepper. I like ordering chocolate milk because it usually comes with a cherry and a striped straw, so it feels fancier than the chocolate milk I make at home, plus it’s just cheaper than something with alcohol

You'd be lucky to get it. If you're against drinking and out with friends, just order a water.

If they actually had any you would probably end up with a glass of old, curdled chocolate milk.

There's a bar in my area that serves chocolate milk. It's much richer and creamier than the chocolate milk from the store. XD
