In online sites, I usually put bands as one of my favorite, even though I only like/know one song. Same when people ask me. I guess I just do it to feel cool, because I feel good when I know a band no-one else knows...? Is is normal?
What's so bad about not liking everything a certain band comes out with?
they're human, they make shit music in addition to good music.
You mean to tell me you've listened to every single song on every single album and you like all of them? i'll have to call BS on that one.

NO, I think most people misunderstood me. I don't go around saying that I love, love a band just to be a poser. Although when I read the second part of my story it did sound like that, what I meant was that on ONLINE SITES, as irrelevant as this one, when there is a question like 'Favorite music', 'Favorite movies', I list, among all the bands I listen to, bands that I only know because of that one song.

It's not normal. How can a band be your favourite if you only know one song? The only way I can see this as possible is if you had a memory disorder. For some reason, this post is making very annoyed. (Could be because of my lacklustre breakfast? My constipation?) Please, just stop this nonsense. Go get a therapist, one that can hopefully get you to boost your self-esteem as well as realise that you are being incredibly (Insert Word(s). I won't tell you to "get a life" because that term/phrase gets on my nerves too.
Yeah thats the problem with shitty commercial bands/artists (Pop)... everything is a bunch of shit and every 100 years there is one good song... Just grow up and listen to music where the lyrics have a real meaning or the music is just talented... f.e. Metal, Rock and Punk... everything else is just not the same might be good sometimes (Techno=Party or Rap is good sometimes) but pls FUCK THE POP!
POSER, ur like the ppl i knew that id borrow their ipod and be like "OMG u like them too!!" then open it up and it just one song, Like wtf u poser!!!! what was even the point if u only like one song. why dont u actually try. ppl like u dont really enjoy music on the same level and it just dissapointing to me i guess. idk. Well I have an exact opposite problem^^ I just hear few songs of a band and then download everything from them when I like them and I only got 50 Bands on my iPod with a total of 2500 songs^^ But at least I like almost every band and yeah those bands I hear aren't pretty known aswell^^
