    Four years is a long time if you haven't stayed close these past years. Did she know you had feelings for her?

      Probably too many, that was the first time I shed a tear in public. My adolescent self did not learn the benefits of hiding emotions from others.

        Eh, sometimes it's good to let people know how you're feeling. Have you dated anyone at all after her? You're missing out on love and good experiences with people even if nothing comes out of those relationships
