Is it normal to only fart in front of him?

This is a gross subject but I can't help it. I normally dont have a problem with gas but recently I have not had the urge to fart unless I am around my boyfriend. I am 24 female healthy, we have been together 5 years. I do not know why all of a sudden this is happening but everyday when I get home from work as soon as I am talking to him I get the urge. It happens probably three to four times until bed time. I have tried excusing myself to the restroom but its like I get shy and the urge goes away. As soon as I am around him it starts again. It is not attractive at all and he laughs about it but it makes me feel so unsexy. He makes comments like, "haha you are like a guy."

Is this normal or what the heck is wrong with me? I am scared he is going to leave me!!!

    LOL! I do this to my boyfriend too. He calls me Tootie Patootie. He only complains when they smell, or before bed..other then that he thinks its funny/cute. He's also impressed how 'such a big sound comes out of such a little body'

    Hmmmm, wonder why all of the sudden that just started happening.... well... since you've been with him for five years, I doubt he will break up with you over something petty like a little gas. It's not like he never farts, heck, he's probably farted around you before. So don't be so freaked about it. :)
