Been in a long term relationship but My partner is not as financially stable as I would like. After supporting him for a year plus he finally was able to get a job. He recently got a promotion but yet I can't help but to think it won't be enough or maybe its just too late and I've grown tired of waiting for the next bill to be paid. Or am I being unreasonable?
Considering the state of unemployment in this country, it's not surprising he's having trouble. You're probably just feeling worn out from the crunch, but as dinz said there are plenty of families in way worse straits right now.
If he's not just being lazy and trying to get out of responsibility, if he's a good person and you love him, you can endure this together. Just don't let your life stress get in the way of your romance.
The days where Father goes out in the morning for work and comes back with employment is long gone OP.
Look people would die for employment even if it meant they would cleaning toilets for a living. As long as it brought some food to the table.
Be thankful of your situation. There are people out there who would love to have a home with one income coming let alone two in your situation.
