There have been a few times that the urgency to pee krept up on me suddenly while I was out and about. It became a race to find a public bathroom. I almost couldn't hold my pee stream until I reached the urinal. When I finally released the flow, I got a sharp pain in the tip of my penis for a split second followed by an incredible feeling of relief. I've heard guys moan when they release the flow, and I know that I've done it when I was really desperate. Never any heavy breathing (unless I literally ran to the bathroom). Yes, it does feel THAT good to pee!
