I do not think that waiting to find out the baby's gender is normal because it is not typical of most people anymore. However, I think that it is great if you wish to not know until the baby is born. My parents waited and they were very happy with the gender of all three of their kids (girl, boy, boy). Also I think that, depending on how my future wife feels on the matter, I would not mind waiting either.
Is it normal to not worry about the sex of our baby.
