Poison is right grim, I have no interest in telling people what to do, id be a hypocrite and no one likes a hypocrite :]
And the majority of people dont realize what sad things their lives have become, its a joke really, the system seems to be designed to keep everyone in debt. But everyone just keeps following like sheep.
When i said do as we please, i mean do as we please to ourselves. When you are affecting other people it is a different story. As for your family business dilemma, heres a quote ive taken to heart lately and sums up how i feel quite nicely.
"In kindergarten, my teacher told me to write down what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I wrote "happy".
My teacher said, "No no, you don't understand the assignment."
I said, "No, you don't understand life.""
Where's that quote from? Thanks for sharing that :)
That brought back memories of thinking about life when I was a little scrap in primary school and getting depressed over the everlasting boringness that was described in the adults' version of what would happen in the future, after school.
See, before all the talk of jobs and money, I knew that I would be FREE after stupid school of course and that I would go on adventures and do whatever the hell I wanted to do. Who in their right mind would think that school years are the best years of anyone's life?
Now, I can see why people may think that and that's just sad.
If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing in life right now, and what are you going to do with your feelings of "fuck this?" Just wondering because I'm feeling quite annoyed and disillusioned right now.
Is it normal To not want to waste my life doing as I'm told?
