Is it normal to not want to leave?

I'm leaving for college in September, and even though I waited for this all my life and I know this it what I want, in the past few months I've come to appreciate the place I live in and I've also made new friends. I can't see myself living here any further, because I am afraid I am going to go crazy, but I am sad at the thought of leaving these newfound things behind. Normal?

Oh the pains of heading out in the world without the comforts of home.

I do miss my mum's cooking -_-" oh the joys of eating canned meals oh the joys indeed!

    Totally normal.

The familiar is comfortable but there's a whole world out there waiting for you. Embrace change and feel blessed that you have a place to call home when that change seems too much.

I always get that, even on my last day of a job, even if I hated the job I will like it for that day. If you stay you will hate it again
