Oops, I misunderstood the question and clicked the wrong one. Yeah, it's normal to want the best for your kids. There's a BIG difference between wanting to give your kids the best chance you can and actually having something AGAINST ones that are disadvantaged.
So don't judge your friend too harshly. He doesn't sound prejudiced at all. YOU should take a reality check.
