  • you could just be depressed. Everyone has SOMETHING that interests them - sloth is not an interest.

unless you've been like that your entire life.

Insert motivational quote about life not being a destination but a journey etc etc

    • Well, it's not that I don't have things that interest me--I am a very happy person! I just don't want to work in the traditional sense. Like, canoeing, swimming, running, babysitting, being with my family, I love all of that! But thinking about having to go to work everyday for the rest of my life in order to survive, is not appealing to me.

      • Well then that's something different entirely! It's not that you have no ambitions in anything or don't enjoy anything, its just that you don't want to bother with work.

That could be because you are naturally lazy (which is okay) or because you're simply not interested in the kind of normal jobs/lives that about 85% of the world's population have. Maybe its about finding something that's really. interesting to you.

I feel like its not really laziness, because you can do plenty of stuff with just a Psych degree without going to Med school. And Med school is a big deal, takes a lot of effort and commitment. If you're really so lazy and unambitious, why are you going to Med school? You don't have to, after all. Maybe you're not as bad as you think you are :)
