I hear you, and have noticed this too. I think at least a good percentage of people who have kids that young didn't do it on purpose, but feel like they're going to look like an irresponsible baby-hating asshole if they ever admit it. In terms of people who do it on purpose, maybe they just don't have any interests of their own so they have a kid, or if you're a girl having a baby is like the end-all excuse for never having to get a job again.
Babies are annoying dirty lumps of garbage, and I personally hate them. I think a big part of the problem is the whole social media climate of people posting nauseating baby pictures pretending they're happy, because they don't want to admit they're sad they screwed up and pulled out too late.
