Is it normal to not wanna be around someone you like?

The girl that I like is always busy. During the time that she's away somewhere, I'm always thinking about her and imagining being with her in various places. However when she is idle, I rarely ask her if she wants to go out. Thing is, in my dreams, we're clicking but when I imagine actually being with her, I panic. I'm a nerd, sorta. Is this normal or should I try and spend more time with her?

    Just go ahead and ask her. I like this guy, he's kinda nerdy, and I get super nervous bout him too, mmm... Makes me wonder if he's like you bout me? Well I say go on and ask her out!

    Yeah I'm the same mate, does she know you like her? The fact of the matter is that until you get the courage to ask her out then nothing's gonna happen.
