I think its what he represents. He represents a world where if a kid is marketed right to the tween (early teen) market, he can become an overnight sensation. Whereas plenty of talented musicians struggle their whole careers for recognition. I think the hatred stems from many people's frustration at the mainstream and the commercial world we're living in.
Fantastic man. You just banged the nail right on the head. I was actually looking for a good way to tell people this but couldn't really think of what to say. And the funny thing is; he's probably a decent singer. I just despise everything he stands for.
Yeah; because really, and unfortunatly, it's about money. No one seems to care about the arts anymore, but there's always been teen idols only famous for their tween/teen fanbase. Just look up Fabian from the 1950's. It seems today however, the market has gotten worse, as even though there were always those annoying tween/teen idols, there was once a time when people had pride in the arts and music itself.
Is it normal to not understand why everyone hates Justin Bieber?

Well, that AND autotune...
This^^^^Pretty much as perfect an answer as i've ever seen.
Even if he didn't mention the obvious nostril implications.
