Is it normal to not remember names of characters in movies?

Most of the time I watch a movie, I don't remember anybody's name from the movie, except maybe the main character. So afterward, if I'm discussing the movie with friends, if someone says Peter did this or Sarah did that, I have no idea who they're talking about.

    I'm bad at that too. I don't know why because I've got a great memory for names in real life.

    For instance, I couldn't tell you the names of the two principal characters in "When Harry Met Sally". Dave and Jane are my best guesses, but I suspect this is wrong.
