I remember quite a lot. I remember the layout of every house I lived in, every school I went to, many other places I only visited, stores we shopped at. I remember a ton of seemingly random and insignificant things I did/saw/heard as well as the bigger things.
I have a bit of trouble with short term memory here and there. Mostly things like I will forget to do something somebody just asked me to do or I forget what I was going to google or I forget why I went into a room. I usually remember quickly though. Oh, and names. I forget them almost instantly and I don't really remember faces well either...at first... unless I see it often.
I know what it is. Sometimes your life is good, and sometimes you live in the moment. I mean your life could be good, but the things that matter (which is your life) are the things that stick out. Sometimes when some things happen people decide to suppress them- and never think about them- other times your life seems so lackluster to you that you never realize the connections you have are colossal until you finally need to. I always have so much time to think that I remember things. Not with direction, not in sequence, but in time.
