Is it normal to not really know what they do in skyscrapers?

They’re hollow, is what I heard. The government uses them to store nerve gas.

Technology and automation was supposed to give us shorter work days/weeks, but instead humanity busies itself with these mindless insignificant office jobs because we'd feel too lazy and guilty if we actually enjoyed too much free time.

Everyone in skyscrapers spends their days standing at the windows admiring the view and laughing at the little, unimportant people scurrying around down below.

Skyscrapers are mostly offices with the lower floors often retail stores or restaurants, and possibly a hotel.

Some skyscrapers also have apartments or condo's.

So whatever is normally done in offices, stores, restaurants, and apartments or condo's is what's normally done in them.

Mostly office/desk jobs.

Aren’t they mainly office buildings, I’ve always dreamed of working for a really successful law firm in a skyscraper in Paris or New York
