If they aren't true to you and make no effort to hang out I say they aren't real friends. Real friends are the ones who always want to hang out with you and make memories, not hang out with you because they're bored. I'd say let them be, if they come to you fine, but if not it sounds like you have a new group of college buddies who actually want to be your friend.
