YOU are the parent and if your children are lazy, disrespectful, ungrateful, underachievers, it is YOUR fault! Take away the cell phones, iPods, Ipads, etc.; don't let them watch TV; if they have any pets, take them to the pound; ground their asses and tell them if they don't shape up, they will be grounded and live like prisoners until they're age 18!

I don't agree with the part about taking pets away because not only is it traumatizing for the family who adopted but it is also damaging to the pet.
