Is it normal to not like someone, ever?

Since young I have never felt that feeling of liking someone, I don't have crushes or have "fallen in love". The concept is still faraway. I'm gonna turn 20 this year and i find it weird that it hasn't happened. For respect of others feelings I don't date, I find it awful to lead a person on when you don't feel the same. So I think that maybe i've always had my "eyes on the prize", and my standers are to high. I'm an obsessive compulsive person so when I know what I want I don't stop till I get it. It helps in some aspects, but not in all. So my question is is it normal or am I a heartless person? thats the answer i've gotten lately.

    Why would you be heartless? Just because a lot of people have crushes around your age doesn't mean that you have to. Totally normal.

    Consider yourself lucky. I've never not liked someone. Infact, I can't remember a moment in my life where I DIDN'T have a crush on at least one person. Sad thing is, I've never been in any kind of a relationship either, and I'm 19 years old.

    I thought i was the same way as you. I was turning 20 as well when i lost all hope of finally meeting someone i actually liked felt a connection with. Before that, i had a sex buddy for about a yr and never liked him like that and it concerned me how i never had real feelings for anyone before, even if i wanted to. I never really liked anyone growing up, i just mostly thought certain boys were cute.

    I think its very normal to be concerned at this aged about this, j know it kept me up a lot at night. Cuz maybe ur finally ready to fall for someone... And the person youll fall for just may be thinking the same thing, that they never really like anyone either. Both guys ive dated never meet any girl they actually like, and i was a rare exception, and them for me. Itll happen for you, but these ppl dont come around too often

      yeah, well i don't really think right now is the best time, i'm in college and stuff... i wouldn't want the guy to slow me down. But your story sounds lovely... I hope i do find that rare weirdo, jajaja.. no, seriously, thanx.
