I'm in my sixties, so I grew up in a period when the only people with tattoos were circus freaks, sailors, and motorcycle gang members.
I don't hate people with tattoos, but having a lot of ink does colour my perception of the person. If the tattoos are obvious, I assume they're so shallow and insecure that they're desperate to appear different and unique to strangers. I'm also inclined to think they're pretty dim, since it's not difficult to discover that all tattoos look like crap twenty or thirty years down the line.
