I pretty much get you. Most teenagers I know aren't trustworthy and they act in a really childish and disloyal way. I mean, I have true friends, the ones I got out with and trust as if they were part of my family, but the other ones are just people I have to live with. If I were you, I'd just try to avoid disliking the people I'm not that close with, because it may only end up making you angry/sad with the whole situation. Answering your question, I guess it's normal nowadays, but not advisable in my opinion. :)
