You might be more right than I am, and, for the most part, I don't disagree with you.
I wrote the comment because I have read some of such articles, and I remember it as though I gained some understanding of things, and that confidence is preached in them. It could be that some of the advice in these articles could help someone overcome some things.
Also, I guess, I misunderstood the question also to be a request for pickup lines, though I recognize now, that is not the case.
I wasn't saying, he should go out and spend lots of money of seminars, or on anything else, for that matter. And I don't want to recommend to learn all the tricks and just go by that. One could read some of the stuff, digest it, and then, perhaps, some of it may be useful in understanding attraction.
The goal should not be to become a pua, it should be to become a confident person that can talk to cute women.
But be wary of listening to me, as I don't have any dating experience.
