KNOWONE SHOULD BE HAVING KIDS.
the world population needs to drop.
Better to choose not to have kids than be forced to raise one you never wanted. It’s not fair to you or the kid if it is not wanted.
Some people choose not to have kids. It's your life. Though if you do want to have kids 40s is a bit late to the game.
I wouldn't say "normal" because it is more common for a 40yr old to have kids than not, but it's certainly nothing to be ashamed of. If you aren't hurting anyone you can do whatever you want.
Kids are huge commitment and it's really not something you should embark on just because you feel ashamed.
Though I'm just 18, I won't have kids forever so it's perfectly normal. When I see myself I am always reminded by how kids can be so handful.
The chance of having a Downs syndrome baby at 40 is about 1 in 100. At 45 it is 1 in 20, as I remember
You should be ashamed if you wanted kids but never got your act together, or avoided having them because you were afraid of the responsibility. If you sincerely don't want kids, there are a lot of people like that and you should only feel what you naturally feel about it.
Absolutely unacceptable, how dare you not reproduce and further burden this overcrowded planet with your spawn.
Go stand the naughty corner and think about what you’ve done.
Climate change is a natural phenomena that is constantly happening. If you mean pollution, most of that is produced by ships, lorries etc transporting useless crap that people buy, like cheap clothes and technology. Certain parts of the world are increasing in population, while the "first world" population is actually reducing. Africa's population is rising rapidly but most of the pollution is being caused by the USA, China and Europe, all of whose native populations are falling.
Many people become first time parents at 40 nowdays. There are women that become mothers at 40 for the first time.
I have thought about becoming a mother at 35-40. I am 24. I want to enjoy my youth, study, etc.
It's good! There is over 7.5 billion people on this planet struggling for resources in the midst of this 6th mass extinction that our species has caused. This generation is struggling to afford housing, pay bills, obtain benefits or anything that previous generations took for granted. Things will only get much worse!
