Is it normal to not have had sex at 26

I'm 26 Yeats old and have never had sex. I want to wait until i meet the right guy. I don't really think I want to wait until I'm married to have sex but I want it to be special with someone I can see myself making a life together. Do you think I'll actually find a guy that is okay with that and is it normal?

I'm 28, and I didn't have sex until 6 months ago. I just wasn't ready before. I did things my way in my own time and I have no regrets.

Don't worry about being normal or not. Just stay true to yourself.

Self respect and confidence is the best feelings in the world. Never do anything you'd regret or be afraid to tell anyone about later. If

My girl waited until she was 20 and it was with me. We are not married yet but we plan on it and we both loved each other and talked about it. I have been with quite a few other women before her but never a virgin. Her giving herself to me was something very special we are both very happy about. Wait for a guy you love, you will never regret it. On the otherhand, you are much more likely to regret just sleeping with someone you don't love. Plus think about what you will tell your daughter(s) later on down the road. What would you be proud of? Sleep w/ someone you love the 1st time = win/win

The big problem is that after your 1st time you might get hooked on it and want to have sex with loads of other men, which isn't exactly gonna be good for your marriage unless you both agree to swinging. Or you might find you hate sex with a man/ be disgusted at the sight of an erect cock and realise you prefer women. I've known of many people who've got married to cover up their true sexual identity and have wasted years living in sham marriages Whichever, you need to find what floats your boat before you commit to marriage.

I knew a couple that waited until marriage. She was 20 and he was 24. Turns out she was normal sexually and he was completely asexual. She's miserable. She can't even talk to him about it. They are too religious to get a divorce. There are worse things than having sex before marriage. She would have known they weren't suited for each other.

Hmm I really think you need to look at the big picture. There is no such thing as a perfect guy, moreso if your perfect guy is at the same age as you or older and is a virgin as well. I just think you are putting sex way to high on a pedestal because at this point any sex would be perfect for you. Chances are the guy you find who just might be your Mr. Right has already had sexual relations with 20 or more girls, he will be experienced, and then when he gets to you he may be unsatisfied with how unexperienced you are and how sucky (for a lack of a better word) you just might be in bed...

Anyone that your attracted to seems to be the "right guy", so what are the rest of your criterion? How can you know he's right? Maybe go for it if there are feelings....

Yes just wait for the right guy to come

  • That is always better. Most of the time the guy you marry has but he feels bad because he wants it to be special for you both. If you do have sex before getting married than you might regret it your wedding night when it feels like no big deal. Hope this helps!

Don't let it get the better of you, sex isn't everything... yeah it's good but it's not like once you have it, and then don't get it that it is going to kill you... do what you plan on doing and wait til you find the one that makes you happy without wanting to have sex with you... believe it or not there are guys like that still around.

I didn't wait untill I was married but I defenitelly waited to do it with someone I love. I was very lucky to find him. And I don't regret what I did at all.
I think that it is great that you are waiting for someone special because you don't want to have regrets about your first time.

So instead of living life as a decent person, let's just give into all our urges because were to just have fun right? Tell that to the murderer, the pedophile, and the rapist. Religion aside, a decent person takes pride and worth as to what you are. She seems to have it, and that's leagues above anyone who would believe virginity to be something to just give away. You only have it once and it's special. Not only to your memories but also to the man you will share it with. Let's hope the previous is true and you do not lose it to a pig.

I think you are not normal for this, you are taking the road less traveled. I myself waited (21yo) and shared it with the woman that is my wife now and it's something we both cherish. Keep it going, do not listen to whores and pigs alike, keep what is special in this short life time. When it's gone, it will be something of rejoice to remeber it, not regret.

The thing is,,, If you wait til your married to have sex and you are not compatible with your Hubby this will become a problem pretty fast !! so if you are thinking about marring the guy thats when you should have sex to see if you both are into the same thing ... I have a friend who waited and come to find out his wife hates sex !!! NOT GOOD !!

I'd think you'll regret it. If you plan on getting married you need to experience more or you'll always wonder what you've missed out on. And you'll know more about what you Want
