Is it normal to not have any human relations?

I am just wondering if it is normal to have little or no interaction with other humans because you're scared of who they are and what they do and think.

Also I would like to know if it's normal to wonder if thew world would be a better place without humans (I think it would be!)

Is It Normal?

  • I would have to say that this is not normal. But, you are not alone. The most interaction i have with people is probly my nightly "is it normal" visit. I dont even talk to people at school. I hate people.

  • I think it would be better if there were a lot less of us treading around on the Earth too.

Social isolation will make you a little crazy whether you want to admit it or not. However, some people prefer to spend the majority of their time with themselves, but they still do have some human contact to keep them relatively "normal".

  • Bull, lots of people are to shy and worried about what other people think to interact with them, you just have to try and be more outgoing, what's the worst that could happen? And honestly the earth is always going to have SOME kind of presence that fucks it up, so why shouldn't it be us humans? At least we moderate it somewhat.

  • no, having no human contact is not normal or healthy.

yes the world would be much better without humans. we are the cancer of this planet.

But I'm human and don't really feel like being dead so the earth will just have to deal with it

  • I think the planet would feel better without humans on it, but I don't think humans would feel better at not existing. On rare occasions, we're able to produce something utterly beautiful (admittedly, beautiful only to other humans, but beautiful all the same). It's a shame that the hiatuses between those rare occasions are filled with pollution, hatred, war, ignorance, and really banal sitcoms.

  • You could join the person 4 stories up, who just stares at a wall all day.

  • No mate it's not normal, social interaction is one of our basic needs. People need it in varying degrees, but cant quite live without it. Well at least normally functioning humans can't. I wonder how long it takes for isolation to drive someone suicidal.
