Wow, I think I am in the same situation except I'm a guy. The ratio of guys to girls in my major (engineering) is about 30:1. I'm usually pretty busy and I can't seem to meet many new girls. I'm probably a bit shy, too, and possibly a bit outspoken on some things. I am a decent guy and get along well with most people, I just don't know many girls. It's definitely hard sometimes. I think it is normal, but that doesn't make it fun...
