You should put a little pride into how you look.
If you think about it, initially in most cases the first reason we go up to someone at a party, or the bar, or Taiwanese dance class is because we are somewhat attracted to them. If you want someone to like you for you, you have to put effort into the gateway that will allow them to get to know you AKA your looks. We would all like to think that we're not superficial but God gave us eyes.
