Ya, most newbies don't know how to inhale properly.
You've got to hold it in for at least five seconds, otherwise you're just wasting good smoke.
Don't smoke more than a few tokes though because you don't want to overdo it.
Don't worry, you won't get addicted.
It's not a gateway drug.
People who write stuff like that are uninformed freaks.
I wouldn't agree in saying that it's not a gateway drug. If you have a curious and addicting personality, smoking weed is what opens up the mind to other kinds of drugs. Before I smoked weed I was anti drug... but after I smoked weed I was curious about what other ways there were to expand my mind. I can honestly say that pretty much everybody I know that do hard drugs probably wouldn't have done them if they had never smoked weed.
Maybe to some extent but you can't deny the fact that once you break a barrier.. it becomes a lot easier and more likely that you will break the next barrier.
Is it normal to not get high at all the first time you smoke weed?

Dude, it was your "curious" personality that was the Gateway, not the weed. You shouldn't confuse the two.

Maybe for some people, but not for all-it's a bad generalization to make.
