It sounds like depression, like the full on definition of it....:( you definitely need to get some help, if u can, maybe you can get yourself hospitalized. The state in which you’re in needs to be cracked open big time and they provide food, shelter and make u go to sleep and get up at certain times. Also u meet other people that can relate, to be honest that’s really the most therapeutic part
I don’t think only telling friends will help, at least a counselor or something
We had a class once, where people had to eat pieces of chocolate or things people enjoy very slowly and think about why it’s good and just stuff like that, to get into liking small things again at least

Look up depressive psychosis. In more severe cases you can get so depressed that you begin to lose all emotions, a walking zombie. It CAN get better.

I was born with glass bones and paper skin. Every morning I break my legs, and every afternoon I break my arms. At night, I lie awake in agony until my heart attacks put me to sleep.

When I first saw the title, I thought you would be someone who was rationally minded but now I see it's more emotional minded. I think the answer to your question is that you do have emotions, but you've having problems escaping the sadness category.

Are there any hobbies that you like to do for fun? Could you schedule a time to hang out with your friends? Maybe even cooperative online video games to make friends if being socially awkward in person is a problem. You could possibly be disassociating as well (as I like to describe it, being on "autopilot" in real life).

I understand what that all feels like. Until you make an effort to change your current state of mind, nothing will change and you will continue to feel like that. Try to change something in your life and see what that does for you. I wish you the best of luck on your journey.
