With this situation try and tell him that you don't feel you are getting anything out of sex and maybe then you can both consider spicing it up a little bit so therefore you can both enjoy it. Tell him what and how you like it so he knows what to do to satisfy you.
And tell him what he does that annoys you so he knows that it does. Like FocoUS said, he can't read your mind so when you get to breaking point and explode, he is going to be confused and think it has come out of no where.
