Yeah its normal. Infact it wouldn't be normal if you DID trust guys off the bat.
MOST guys (like 90%) only want one thing.
And if they can't get that one thing or if something changes, they bolt.
Just take your time to really get to know someone thouroughly before you make any commitments. If you tell them about your apprehension and past experiances and they understand and have patience with you, chances are they won't be like that 90% .
