Is it normal to not care at all about third world countries

Their governement should be the one trying to fix shit around, not ours and all of us. I don't mind giving food in cans and shit but money? Gtfo. More than half the time the people collecting it keeps it.

I actually agree with you here.
Most people will probably tell you "ohh no... how can you be so cruel", but man, I can tell you from experience it's fucking shit here in Africa.
If anyone saw what it's really like here they'll end up agreeing that this whole place should just be exterminated; it would save us all a whole lot of money and time.

I don't feel like you, I live in a socialist country and I thinks it's great... The richer you are the more taxes you pay.. I think it's fair... And btw I'm the one paying a lot of taxes... And I think, that this system shouldn't be limited within our borders, it's a shame my government can't help other because of sovereign.

Governments usually give money (aid) to poorer countries not in the way that we typically think of. They are given aid, with the expectation that they will give us something in return; for example, they will buy certain things from our country (so that the money is reinvested in our economy). The reasons our governments "give" money away to poorer nations is not altruistic.

Sometimes I wonder if the world would be a better place if we (countries) all just minded our own business, instead of meddling in other people's crap. I sort of agree with you.
