Start using soundcloud.com if you're not already. It's free and their algorithm is amazing. Although if you really are looking to step far outside familiar genres, I would just wikipedia genres and go from there, I'm not sure what to say, maybe search wikipedia pages of different countries and find the music from there. theneedledrop is a youtube channel where a somewhat eclectic variety of music is reviewed. Even the list of genres on the itunes music store will provide you with something if you have access to a mac.
I think wikipedia is probably your best bet, finding all the subgenres of rock, punk, metal, jazz, electronic, etc. and then searching those keywords or bands you find on wikipedia on youtube, then youtube playlists/recommended vids from there etc.
It is a good challenge, since everywhere seems to try to be specific, to just become more eclectic takes creativity of your own. Maybe even going to a record store. Good Luck
Is it normal to not be satisfied with your music choices?
