  • I don't celebrate my birthday but I don't let others know that...and lose out on free stuff... No!
I had major bummer birthdays because everyone makes such a big deal about it and I just want to have a usual day. It can also be depressing knowing you're one year older. Its only big for me once a decade of my life has past and I'd like to mark the positive changes to my life since.

    • My mom usually works on my birthday, and my sister and her kids come over to spend the night for Christmas. My dad sees it as just another day and I don't have any friends to spend it with.

      • Are you OP?
Well seems like you really want to celebrate your birthday... though even I work on my birthday sometimes. If you really want you can do something you like on the day , maybe go to the movies, shopping and remind everyone about your birthday a week before...
Birthdays aren't important for myself, I think its overrated so don't feel left out.
