    No. That's just someone making statements and then claiming them as "facts" to justify their own continuation of stereotypes.

        this reminds me of one of my ex boyfriends ...

        although it wasn't the final straw, it was a contributing factor.

        He'd go around making comments about nationalities or races and then say "but it's true" as his excuse.

        He knew from the start that what he was going to say would be offensive, but he honestly thought that saying "it's true" would somehow stop others from getting mad.

        There's a difference in pointing out valid facts... and saying crap just to piss people off.
