Is it normal to not be able to sit still in a car?

I know no one can sit perfectly still. But I really have a problem of sitting in a car enjoying the silence. Anywhere else it's fine, but just not in a moving vehicle.

I need to hum, sing, rock (like lean back and forth) to some rhythm. Whether it's my own voice or music in the background.

Anyone out there have this problem? Is it normal to you all?

    totally depends.

    If i am driving, some music is enough to keep me "happy".
    If someone else is driving, i usually either doze off, chat a lot, or start being queazy :)

    I can't stand being in a car for too long. I also have to do something involving movement.

    I usually zone off into my own head and sit perfectly still..
