  • Its a psychological addiction. The best way to break a strong habit like this is to to make another dramatic change in your life: get a new job, start hanging out with a different group of people, move to a new place, etc. Just work on changing your routine - eg, if you always smoke around certain people, don't hang out with them; if you always get stoned and go to the movies on the weekends, try going somewhere else entirely that you don't have that association with.
