Calling someone a slut isn't "tough love". I have never, ever seen a genuine attempt to help someone (no matter how tough) that revolved around degrading them.
I also don't care what people think of you online. This isn't about what people think of you. It's about how you treat other people.
Why is it unnecessary to question someone who is being abusive? I think it's possibly the most necessary thing anybody could do.
Sorry, but no. If you were her friend, people would question all the more why you'd call her a slut on a public website.
This isn't about gender at all, whether you try to confuse the issue that way or not. It's simply about you treating someone badly. Face up to it and admit it. Even better, apologize.
You took that comment WAY out of context. Here, let me show you what I see.
Question: IIN I dont like the way I look in photos of myself?
Me: You are being superficial.
Nothin wrong with that. And I hear girls (my own gal friends for that matter) call their girl friends sluts and bitches all the time, so don't try to twist this on me.
You must be a girl if you'd rather nitpick pointless things that are COMPLETELY beside the point just so you don't have to acknowledge that the rest of what that person said is right.
That doesn't make sense. When you use two words to describe someone (i.e. superficial and slut), what you mean is that both things describe them, not that only one word describes them and that which word matters is up to you to decide at a later date (and even then, only if someone mentions it).
Similarly, if I called you a string of insults but ended by saying your username has a 'u' in it, I wouldn't feel justified in saying you were completely mistaken in seeing insults and it was all out of context because I just wanted to comment on a letter of your username.
In short, if you don't want to call someone a slut, don't use the word slut. It's your use of that word that's out of context, not my interpretation.
Is it normal to never want to be photographed or videotaped?

If I was a girl, especially if I was one of her girl friends, no one would be questioning this.
Double standards.

Okay, one last attempt and then I'm going to leave it alone for both our sakes.
Question: Is it normal I don't like the way I look in photos of myself?
(Part of) your answer: You are a slut.
That's what I think you did wrong.
