  • Hunger (typically) is not your body saying it needs nutrients or energy. It's simply your stomach complaining that it's empty. Also, over time your stomach can shrink if you don't eat much. I've dealt with a complete loss of appetite when dealing with depression (the true clinical variety, not situational). Both the thought and act of eating was nauseating, and I only ate because of looking at the clock and realizing I haven't eaten in a long time. If that's not what you're going through I have no idea...
