Is it normal to never be able to lose weight

I've been trying to lose weight for awhile now. Nothing seems to work. I lost 30 pounds from the stomach flu years ago, but now I actually have to try and lose this weight. I guess this might be normal for alot of people. Tips or any comments would be appreciated for help. And if this is normal to not be able to stay on track of a diet?

U need to make it a lifestyle. Dieting is shit. Drink more water, if u become even slightly dehydrated ur metabolism goes down. It's 80% diet and 20% exercise. My mother started walked every morning and it took her 8 MONTHS to start losing any weight but once she started losing it she lost tons and tons of weight. 3 months and no progress must have been really discouraging =( but u have to stay on it! The body is weird and it turns all that sugar into a fat that's not eager to b burned so just be persistent! U can do it! =) I just started changing my lifestyle and have only lost a few lbs but omg the water and healthy food has made a HUGE difference in my skin, mood, sex life, energy level and just overall improved my day.

Ive been to the gym for the pat couple of months and lost about 300g and thats it! If you're slim already then its harder to lose than say, if you're from the Biggest Loser. And yes its hard to keep to a diet because after a while you feel you deserve a treat and then its back to square one.

For me, I don't gain or lose weight. I weigh 45lbs most of the time and I don't exercise much. I have a healthy diet though most of the time, no junk food.
Check your diet for carbs and exercise frequently. Just stay healthy!

Last year I lost 30 pounds and have been at the same weight since. It's called plateau-ing. If you want to lose more weight you have to work extra hard to get it off - hard exercise each day, eating healthy, etc. But it is normal.
